Linde Hydraulics at Agritechnica

07-Nov-2011

System optimisation of hydraulic drives:
More efficient – more economical – more powerful

The whole is more than the sum of its parts: This principle also applies to the hydraulic drives of agricultural machinery, as demonstrated by Linde Hydraulics at Agritechnica 2011. Using real examples from development activities, the company will show how advancements can be achieved in terms of performance, comfort and safety — through cleverly combining the ultimate in modern hydraulic components and linking these components through electronic control technology. …more

Electric drives in agricultural machinery

07-Nov-2011

The "electrification" of the tractor

At Agritechnica, Linde Hydraulics will demonstrate the advantages of using electric drives in agricultural machinery – both for manufacturers of work machinery and for their users. Two examples: When the conveying screw and ejector of a fertiliser spreader are driven by compact, speed-controlled electric motors, the quantity and the spreading distance of the fertiliser output can be regulated much more precisely. And if an air conditioning compressor is electrically driven, it can be switched on and off as required – this saves fuel and reduces the power requirements of the combustion engine. …more

40 years of expertise in electric transport

22-Sep-2011

Electric forklifts, electric karts or conventional cars — powered by Linde Material Handling
Electric transport is one of the big hot topics in society. Highly industrialised countries in particular are focusing on new emission-free vehicle concepts in order to reduce the impact of transport on humans and the environment. The automotive and component supply industry as well as research institutes are working on development projects worth billions of euros involving various concepts and technologies. In the past, the world has hardly taken notice of the industrial truck industry, which has seen the manufacture of electric forklifts and warehouse trucks for decades. Before the official opening of the 2011 StaplerCup, Linde Material Handling (LMH) presented its extensive expertise in electric drive technology, acquired over four decades, to the press. …more

Electric vehicles don't need to be expensive

Karabag New 500 E: zero emissions at competitive prices - with Linde drive technology

It is a commonly held perception that electric vehicles are "too expensive". However, with the New 500 E, Germany's market leader in the electric vehicle sector, Karabag GmbH, is launching a vehicle whose leasing cost of € 299 per month is comparable to that of a "normal" small car. This has been made possible thanks, in part, to proven series electric drives from Linde Hydraulics. …more

Linde Hydraulics delivers electric drive for road-rail vehicle

22-Sep-2011

It was a swift and successful start: At the bauma 2010 trade fair, Linde Hydraulics revealed that it would be making its expertise in the entire development and production process of electric drives available to other manufacturers of mobile work equipment. Before the event came to an end, initial discussions with electric shunter manufacturer G. Zwiehoff GmbH were already underway. Immediately after the fair, an agreement was signed to seal this cooperation. Just three and a half months later the first "Rotrac E2" prototype was completed. Since then, Zwiehoff has been marketing the vehicle, built by Linde subsidiary Proplan, and attracting significant interest in the process. …more

New medium-pressure pump for use in mobile hydraulics

04-Feb-2011

Compact design and energy-efficient operation
The MPR 50 medium-pressure axial-piston pump from Linde Hydraulics represents a new drive concept for the work functions of mobile machines equipped with an electronically controlled propel drive. When compared directly with internal-gear pumps and load-sensing pumps with pressure cut-off, it is clear that this type of pump offers significant advantages. It is more compact, it can be easily integrated into the existing propel drive control and it helps to save energy. …more

Hydraulic drives: New nominal sizes and new regulating concepts

13-Dec-2010

Modular design enables a range of variants using series components
Linde Hydraulics used the financial crisis in 2008–2009 to develop new variants of the modular system for hydraulic drive systems — such as the HPR 280 regulating pump — as well as new regulators for mobile and stationary hydraulic drives. …more

The LinDrive® driving philosophy in the new Atlas AR 65 from Weyhausen: Wheel loader with hydrostatic drive

14-Aug-2008

With the Atlas AR 65, Weyhausen has created a wheel loader that looks set to be a great success. It will win you over with its modern design, carefully thought-out ergonomics and a drive concept that combines high dynamics with precise manoeuvrability. This is in no small part thanks to the hydrostatic drive with the new diesel engine-speed controlled axial-piston pump HPV 55-02 CA and the axial-piston motor HMV 105-02 EH1P CA from Linde Hydraulics.  …more

LinDrive® provides the new Claas Jaguar forage harvester with a significant increase in tractive force, as well as optimum driving and operating comfort.

13-Mar-2008

Optimising the benefits of hydrostatic technology
The Jaguar forage harvesters from Claas are high-performance machines that can harvest up to 400 tonnes of maize or grass per hour. The latest generation of hydrostatic propel drive has undergone further optimisation: the machines set themselves apart from the rest of the field by a significant increase in tractive force and further improvements to operator comfort — thanks to the LinDrive® concept from Linde Hydraulics.  …more
